Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of consciousness and was brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan in 1969. Previously, only selected students have had the possibility to study Kundalini Yoga. Yogi Bhajan wanted to make this technique available to everyone in order to provide a tool kit that would support them in mastering their very own personal tasks in everyday life with joy and serenity. A sequence of poses focusing on a certain theme (kriya) combined with relaxation and meditation will let your energy flow. You will be aware of this after a yoga class but there will also be a long-term effect.

Kundalini Yoga can be very dynamic but also very meditative. The use of mantras while doing the kriya and meditation will help you stay within yourself during a Kundalini class, enabling you to return to your everyday life refreshed and invigorated.

“Kundalini Yoga means to unleash yourself

to find your life force.”
